How to Make Chocolate Easter Eggs

To make our chocolate Easter eggs you will need:

  • Plastic Easter eggs

  • White chocolate

  • Food coloring

Instructions for making chocolate Easter eggs:

Melt white chocolate in the microwave. Melt a little chocolate at a time.

Pour a layer of white chocolate (not colored) into the bottom half of your plastic egg.

Melt more chocolate and mix with food coloring. Then pour colored melted chocolate into your egg.

Layer colored and white chocolate in your egg halfs. Don't overfill.

Let the egg halfs cool for about fifteen minutes. Then carefully seal the two egg halfs back together. Your egg will still be soft. Wipe off any excess chocolate.

Cool in refrigerator or freezer overnight.
